The Mind & Development and Infant Cognition Labs at Yale University, directed by Drs. Paul Bloom and Karen Wynn, are seeking a joint Lab Manager with a start date in July or August 2018. The position is full-time with benefits. A two-year commitment is preferred (and is extendable beyond two years contingent on funding and mutual interest).
The position entails recruiting and scheduling participants, aiding in the testing of subjects, monitoring and ordering lab supplies, overseeing undergraduate research assistants, and working in a collaborative fashion with the Directors, graduate students and post-doctoral students to maintain the ongoing smooth functioning of the research activities. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Psychology or a closely related field, experience with children, research experience in an experimental psychology lab, and experience managing others. Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail are of the utmost importance. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to solve problems independently while also being comfortable managing and working with others.
