Postdoc and Research Assistant posts in multisensory & perceptual development

We have two full-time vacancies at Durham University (UK), closing on 7th & 10th July 2017:

(1) A 3-year Postdoctoral Fellow, to work on my ESRC-funded project “The Development of Own-body Representation in Childhood”. The project uses behavioural methods and virtual environments to understand how children combine multisensory information with prior assumptions to represent their own bodies. Please see here for further details, and to apply. Applications must be received online by midday British Summer Time on 10th July 2017.

(2) An 18-month Research Assistant to work on both my ESRC-funded project “The Development of Own-body Representation in Childhood” (see above), and on Dr Marko Nardini’s ESRC-funded project “Learning Cue Combination”. This latter project  takes novel approaches to understanding perceptual development, including training children and adults with new senses in virtual reality. Please see here for further details, and to apply. Applications must be received online by midday British Summer Time on 7th July 2017.

UK or international applicants are welcome. Prospective applicants can find more information at http://community.dur.ac.uk/marko.nardini/ and https://tinyurl.com/dcowiedurham, and may contact dorothy.cowie@durham.ac.uk or marko.nardini@durham.ac.uk for more information.
